The Sugimotos.

While there was it in the center of Kyoto, it was good, and the the Sugimotos streamed down the posture of the big store since Edo and showed a model of the large-scale house in the town constitution by the house facing the street structure, and the ability of the Kyoto University mechanic matured for the whole building in the Edo era was fully shown, and technically-related design characteristics were able to be superior together. The reason was because value of the culture of the building was high, and that I became Kyoto-shi appointment tangible cultural property in total was evaluated with three storehouses where this building was not burnt for a big fire of Motoharu in February, 1990. I belong to the Yamahoko-cho of the Gion festival and I maintain "Mt. Haku tusk" and save Yata-cho where the the Sugimotos is located. After Meiwa, the the Sugimotos poured will into "the Mt. Haku tusk" as a central house of head of a household people and was able to support a traditional festival. As a substitute for meeting place of Yata-cho, a store ridge was used for the figurehead place of "the Mt. Haku tusk" after the war, and the building came to occupy the role that the Gion festival cannot miss again and the scene of the festival of this house in the town was wide as moral and material cultural assets and became particularly know abroad. Household articles, the ritualistic implements which have been used from the Edo era at the opportunity of the annual function of the supporter of the Shinshu sect and the ceremonial occasion of the merchant's family are good, and, other than ancient documents, it is saved and bathes in the the Sugimotos by the evaluation that is high as a race document to the Meiji, an industrial arts document from Edo.
